Hello,

I am hoping to get a bit of guidance here. Even if you do not own this particular sample library (which I use in Kontakt 6).

I use this violin live in rock/pop cover bands (a lot of songs have solo violin/fiddle lines).

In its current setting, it is not really optimal. The problem is the loud sustain comes in too late.

I guess I want a fast attack (.25 sec.?) and then flat sustain. Instead it seems the sustain keep getting louder a couple/few seconds in.

I did not yet find a simple "attack" parameter. Since this is a carefully sampled violin, I am hoping I am missing some setting to achieve when I am looking for.

2nd question. Is there a way to lock the key switches? I am almost always playing something with my other hand. So, I generally cannot use them. And on occasion, I think I hit a keyswitch and I do not know what I changed (it messes up my settings). So, it would be better to set things as I need them and disable them. Can I do that?

Relatedly, if I mistakenly hit a keyswitch is there a key that will immediately clear the keyswitch and return it to default?

Thanks for any help with these questions.

Jeff
