midi transposed on import

Hi;
When I import a midi file it is always an octave lower than it should be. Is there a setting that can address this?

Hi Simon,

if you mean the octave number, you can set that in the settings. Look for 'Base octave' under Settings / Miscellaneous / Chords:



The notes themselves should not be lower as those are just numbers, independent of how we number the octaves.
