Hi there,

I'm looking for a pitch/harmonizer effect that can be fully controlled via midi (keyboard). Meaning I sing in or play in a single note and have it re-harmonized in real time via midi (chordal up to 4 voices in my case). Preferably on a hardware device but if there is a plug in solution to start with I'd be more than happy already :-)

Looking forward for your input,
L.

A decade ago you could buy it as a 19" 1u rack device. Don't remember brand or type, something like Vocalist Pro. Cheezy stuff, grows old fast.

Yeah, I remember a guy in an instruments store demonstrating Digitech Vocalist about 25-30 years ago to me, where he was singing "Blame it on the boogie" through it and doing the backing vocals with Vocalist. Sounded so amazing back then!
AKAI made a plugin like that ages ago, but there must be plenty of others nowadays.
Best Regards

Melda Harmonizer does it.

Thanks for the input. Is there something more high end than the Digitech Vocalist? Could a Eventide Harmonizer do it as well?
