Upgrade to Sonic Synth 2 blues

Oh, yes... blues. Because money is short, naturally. And it seems that all group buys and great bargains are happening simultaneously.

So, please, Squids, or someone... I need that extra push. I know it has been asked many times before, always the same question, but I need to hear it (or rather read it) with regard to myself.

I already have Sonic Synth 1, Sonic Station, and Sampletank 2 XL. I don't care much for drumkits or synth sounds, but I am always on the look for natural instruments. So... what do I do? I want it, but do I need it? What is in it that will ease my guilt about spending the $$$ on SS upgrades rather than milk for my children?

If you're into acoustic instruments, perhaps you should check out Studiophonik. It's coming in a few months...

If you want more natural instruments then the Sonik Capsule range is where it's at. Studiophonik as well. Sonik Synth 2 is great all around but its main focus is synth sounds. At least half of it is analog or digital in origin. I mean, it is incredible sounding and the upgrade is totally worth the money. But, since as you say you have to pick and choose and can't get everything then if your main focus is natural instruments then perhaps it isn't on the top of your list. I'd rather see you buy the thing that you want the most, even if this one will have more and more hype as you see it released soon. It's up to you. I don't want to say "just buy it". It is my role to show what its strong points are and I will be doing that in detail (and new videos as well). If it looks like something you want then when you have to funds together you can enjoy the benefits of it.

I do think that many Sonic Synth 1 users will fully appreciate what they get in the upgrade in general. It is a major step forward while retaining some of the things that made the first one so loved.
