Did that get your attention!
Well, I come from a bit of a different perspective than many k-v-r forum people, many of whom are strongly into sound design (respect).
I play in few different bands. So, I am using synths/sample libraries within Gig Performer for live gigs.
So, my objective is to quickly find sounds (and maybe, on occasion some simple (with one hand) parameters that may be tweaked real time) for songs mostly that would make it to the radio. Importantly, I am not into sound design and I really do not want to spend time getting into it.
My preference is to find a preset and maybe make minor tweaks to get the sounds I need.
I think I am in pretty good shape for 70s and 80s synth sounds. But, I am exploring what I would need to try to access 90s forward synth sounds.
I already have Massive (via Komplete Select). Do you think this should cut it (I don't quite need perfection). Any thoughts one collecting more presets for Massive? (Free is great, but time and convenience are a factor).
Or do you think some other synth really should be considered.
Thanks.
Jeff

Have you tried using GP's Probabilistic Sound Designer to tweak your presets. Its goal is precisely to address that kind of tweaking
