Im all in love with your plugins - using a lot of them and look forward for new ones. But the question about this one (and probably rest of new EQ ones) is why would I use them over others?

What is special about this one? It doesn't seem to be eas of use that is it's advantage, how does it differ from others (including yours)? I like the frequencies you chose and surely will give it a try, maybe I'm wrong and it will speed up the workflow - I'll get back later with some opinion for sure!

There should be a 250Hz band too.

Thanks!

This is well known question.

No direct or correct answer…

For example, if I have S** console, why I need another hardware for mixing?

Or…

If I have quality stock equalizer in DAW, why I need 3rd party plug-in?

We can ask tons of question like this.

All gears or plug-ins have their own features. Some good, some bad…

If it works for us, it’s the best.

Thanks

Well I think I was probably just asking for a marketing here. Nevermind it, we're under attack of it from everywhere and I just felt something was missing. Just enlightened mysef that it's all empty words after all anyway. Good for you even better!

Just a question out of curiosity: why is there oversampling in this EQ plugin, if there's no drive-induced saturation? Is it there to avoid cramping at the higher frequencies maybe?

Your answer is in the first post:

Ok, I had misread the DRIVE section, I thought it was just like an input gain, with no saturation whatever the level. Sorry for the noise.

First of all big Thanks to Anaolg Obession for the good Plugins. Very good work!

I was actually looking for a free Motown EQ alternative.
Then I found the OAQ. It sounds different but still very good.

The only thing that bothers me is that q-factor, it's a little bit to low I think.

Maybe a Motown EQ would be a new project for Analog Obsession?
