Looking for bass ethnic drum sound

Hey all ! I've recently taken interest in this bass ethnic drum sound that plays here: . The song is from 2013 but may have been made earlier.

In the isolation posted below, at 0:11, you can tell the two distinctive sounds that were layered.

Does this sound familiar to anyone, and if so, would you happen to remember its source origin?

It's a Djembe of some kind, from which synth/sample pack who knows.

Peter McConnell was actually not the composer. I'd asked him a few days ago...
