Last night , win 10 did an update before shutting down .
Now. , pc won’t boot , fans are not running , no motherboard bleep but at least one led is on the mobo is active when the pc is booted .
So , of the psu died , what provides the power for the led ?

Hummm...

The beep is a code why it is not booting.

Try to clear the CMOS, short circuit some jumper in the motherboard, check the manual.

But even if it would not be psu related , then at least the fans would spin , which they don’t .
And no beep at all

Have you the fans directly connected to the PSU or thru the motherboard? (I guess both) The thing is that the motherboard decides if the PSU should power on, so if it's CMOS related fans connected directly to the PSU could very well not be powered...I guess.

Is your PSU a semi passive or does it have the fan always running?

edit: also, Have you checked the manual of the MB to se if the LED that is on is an error message?

edit:2 You could unplug everything except the fans and try to jump start the PSU to check...

This is probably not it, but disconnect all USB devices and reboot.

When that doesn't work, ground yourself, open it up and reinsert your memory. Watch a video or two first if you've never done it. It's simple, but they need to go back in correctly.
