I'm sure I meet the requirements why does it jus crash before login opens I don't see crash report it just dies what gives and how can I fix please?
I've only tried installing other versions nothing works I also installed java

never mind I solved the issue. the goal was to find another daw other than fruity loops I have mastered. now that Bitwig I bought 16-track last year in march I'm moving to rent-to-own with studio one 5 with splice. because even with splice Bitwig doesn't launch so studio one it is. SOLVED

I never have crashes with Bitwig. What did support say? I bet they can get you going. There is no need to install any Java - its baked in…

I found Bitwig a bit unstable as well - loved the functionality but the pricing plus instability made it unattractive

It's weird how different people have different experiences... one of the big reasons I use Bitwig is because it never crashes. I haven't had a crash in years. Sometimes I leave a project open for a week or two and forget to even save at all. Bitwig is by far the most stable DAW I've used.

That's odd. I've run it on numerous Macs with no issues whatsoever. Perhaps a CPU hog with all the graphics, but nary a crash.
