I have a simple question. I am trying to record sampletank withing cubase 5. how is that done? I can play sounds and all. but I have no ideea how to record.

I don't know how to take this. Shit, I hate answers like "look it up in the manual". I think that for starters, everybody is full of good intentions and proper attitude, (unless the opposite can be proven) and if one does not read the manual, there is a bloody good reason for it (like he is at work or something... or the dog tore it to pieces... or the cat pissed on it... or the kids got their hands on it first...). By the way, all of the above have happened to me at one time or another. 
So, back OT. Check the manual for using vst instruments. Basically you don't record sampletank. You record midi on a midi track, and assign its output to sampletank (or any other vsti you want). I hope this helps you get started. Good luck.

ok tnx man. I understand the concept maybe I just expressed it wrong. I assigned the tracks output to sampletank but it still doesn record. I'll give it some more tries. tnx again.
