Help switch from FL Studio to Cubase

Hi,
Owned FL Studio for over 3 years now, and fell in love with Cubase over the past year which is now on sale.

The funds acquired from the sale of FL Studio will be reallocated to purchasing a Cubase Pro 12 license. Curious if anyone wants to buy the signature edition FL Studio License.

Brother said "you should keep FL Studio, and buy Cubase".

Open to suggestions.

We can't transfer a license from Fl Studio apparently.

I do not understand why then we can do a Crossgade to have Cubase 12 Pro in exchange for the Fl Studio license.

Crossgrade isn´t a license exchange...
You just have to prove that you own a suitable license from a competitor to get the new one for a discounted price....

I have to take a screenshot on my Image Line account with the version of Fl Studio to download (win/mac)?

Or is it another procedure?

During the checkout process, they ask you to upload a copy of the original purchase receipt/invoice, or a receipt/invoice for a more recent upgrade of it, or a suitable screenshot of registration information that proves your entitlement. There was only the option to upload a single file for this. It's checked manually by them, so the checkout process is paused for up to 2 days while that happens. The process might be different if you're not ordering on the steinberg store - I'm not sure.
