Is there a way to authorize the trial version after purchase?
Where can I find the vouchers for the free plugins that come with purchase during the sale?
Thanks for any help.

From my faint memory: Install 'eLicenser Control Center', launch it and enter the activation code of full Cubase 12 pro in there. I think you get the activation code to your email after you have paid the full version. After that you should have the full version already working because you have installed the trial and the activation has just removed all the restrictions of the trial version.

But you should also install 'Steinberg Download Assistant' for a lot of additional stuff and updates.

After you have activated the full Cubase 12 pro you should go here for the free voucher plugins (before the 3rd of October) -->

https://account.steinberg.net/vouchers

(you need to register Steinberg account if you haven't already)

There you find the Vouchers(page), their serial numbers and unlock codes which you copy and paste to the sites of the makers of the plugins (hit the 'Redeem' button to go to each site)... so, yeah, you need to register to all those sites and install their product installation software where you paste the serials and codes. After that you download and install the plugins.

Cubase 12 has a new C/P, not elicenser. You're probably thinking of your upgrade from an older version.

Oh, ok. Yeah, I just updated my 11 pro to 12 and (I think) I did it with the eLicenser Control Center and Steinberg Download Assistant. I guess I thought that's what you do with the trial version also. But then again I still have this USB dongle system from Steinberg and it's a bit confusing right now since I have three different software installed to my computer (related to this topic): eLicenser Control Center, Activation Manager and Steinberg Download Assistant. So I guess I'm wrong person even to try to answer to that particular question. :D Hope at least the voucher part went right.

ps. my 'Steinberg Activation Manager' program actually says at the moment that my Cubase Pro 12 is 'Not Activated' even though it's fully working on this computer. And that's because I still have the USB dongle in use. So is it this Activation Manager program that the topic starter maybe needs to use to change the trial version to full? Or do everything at steinberg.net --> 'MySteinberg'?

Thanks for your help, I have it sorted now.
I have 10.6+ on a dongle, but I don't think 12 is associated with the dongle. I think I did it through the activation app, not on steinberg site specifically.

Yeah - on the activation app. TBH I was a bit disappointed. I d/led that Fire clipper thing - not that useful IMO. Unless I missed something, you can't dial in a ceiling outside of zero or 5 or whatever options it gives. I generally want a ceiling of -1 or -3, but sometimes different. I don't want to have a zero ceiling. It sounded pretty clean admittedly but just too limited. It can't be difficult to put in a user-adjustable ceiling - almost every other clipper/limiter/maximiser on the planet does that.

There's a Softube thing - iLok, so I passed over that one immediately.

I d/'ed the e-piano samples but TBH that's not the kind of instrument I use, so it's likely to be just taking up space and never get used.

Arturia CS80 would have been nice, but I'm on Artist, so don't get it. Probably not going to get any use out of any of the freebies... :(

The free plugins are under https://account.steinberg.net/vouchers

Cubase 12 doesn't use the dongle at all so it's physically impossible that you have activated it on the dongle. The upgrade process does involve the dongle, but only because the license manager marks your Cubase 11 license on the dongle as NFR and non-upgradeable. After that, you can unplug the dongle if you want.

However keep in mind some Steinberg software still uses the dongle, like LoFi Piano, Amped Elektra and other freebies you might have gotten when you bought the Cubase 12 upgrade.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care
