I want to share with you my review of The Cuatro by Guillermo Guareschi on Virtual Orchestration.IT. This library brings at your fingertips the characteristic sound of this South American instrument, and if you are a fan of ethnic instruments you’ll not be disappointed. Thanks to a careful and detailed sampling work, the sound of this instrument is truly realistic and very deep in terms of dynamics capability. You can enjoy quite a few different articulations as well as chords, strums and percussion hits made with the body of the instrument. The samples are very dry and if you add the integrated convolution reverb you’ll hear The Cuatro actually come to life.
