How tto remove clipping distortion from track using online service or free plugin?

I have a mellow singing/acoustic guitar track that I want to mix/master. However, there is occasionally clipping distortion in the singing from how it was recorded. The track itself doesn't exceed -12 dB. Is there a way to reduce/remove the distortion without having to buy expensive "AI" software?

I think Audacity (free) has a "Clip Fix" effect that would be worth trying.

If it's really important get something like isotope Rx, or voxengo has a noise reduction tool.

Otherwise rerecord.

Audacity might work
Izotope Rx or Acon Digital are worth having if you think you will be doing it a lot otherwise they cost some money.
