Yes, I could reproduce it in S1v6 (MacOS 12.6.1). I upvoted the topic you mentioned although I don't use Sample One now (but I might use it in the future, and this is a serious bug to not able to play polyphonic notes while following the song tempo!).

No, it only comes with Reason 12 (or the subscription). You can create a preset for Mimic and drag it directly into a track from the browser.

CR8 is not bad but it uses almost 1gb of RAM per instance

I’ve never paid for a music software subscription before but Reason’s instruments, FX, and players are so nice that they’re worth it for me. Would prefer to own them but can’t really afford them right now.

Edit: to be clear Mimic CAN be used in S1 inside the Reason Rack Plugin.

Bliss has the auto-sampler built-in and seems to work quite well. Otherwise, it doesn't sound good to me, expecially up against TAL.

i´m on 5.0 artist . Need to decide if i want to upgrade my 3.0 pro license to 6.
....if not possible, that could be reason not to upgrade. ( i need something quick, untedious)

Not scanning the plugins at startup created many problems for me, for instance, even though the VST works when opened in a new project, it does not work on a saved project. That's why I leave it on.

View - Plugin Manager - Update Plugin List, but from memory it's a fairly lengthy process.

I just leave it scan at start up, I got 2401 plugin count, and it only takes a couple of sec's, 9 or 10 which doesn't bother me.

Under Views there is Plugin Manager, then click Update Plugins but it does not do a full scan like scanning at startup, it just updates.
