RIP, OMG I think Loretta Lynn’s music did as much for the liberation of modern women as anything else out there. Songs like “The Pill”, “One’s On the Way” and “Don’t Come Home From Drinkin’ With Lovin’ On Your Mind” really stuck it to (her) man in a very catchy way, and I also loved the Van Lear Rose album she did with Jack White.
