Re-connect Vienna Ensemble Pro after it crashes?

Hey guys,

I'm starting to use Vienna Ensemble Pro along with Cubase, and I noticed it sometimes crashes. That's not too bad since restarting it takes just a couple of seconds, but then in Cubase I see that I have to go to each instrument with VEP and press 'Connect', so when having multiple instruments it can waste a lot of time

Is there a way to somehow make it re-connect automatically (in Cubase), after it crashes ?

On a side note, the obvious alternative is to create a rack instrument so I only have a single instance of the Vienna Ensemble Pro plugin, which is better resources-wise anyway, but I'd still prefer to resort to that option only if not having a choice, it's a bit less convenient than what I'm used to
