[edit] I just tried again after a Windows update and the MP4 file is loading correctly now, altho' the .mov file is still producing the same error message. Maybe it actually is a dodgy file

I've been trying to load a video into session view in Live 11 but get the error message " the file may be corrupt or unlicensed". I've tried .mov and MP4 formats but get the same error message, and the files won't load. The files in question were exported from Vegas. I've read a couple of articles on the Ableton website, but can't find a solution. Anyone know what's going on?

FYI

Live can import movies in Apple QuickTime format (.mov) to be used as video clips. Movie files appear in Live’s browser and can be imported by dragging them into the Live Set.
Note that Live will only display video for video clips residing in the Arrangement View. Movie files that are loaded into the Session View are treated as audio clips.

The problem seems to have fixed itself
