Kiive Audio released this very interesting compressor.
Afaik, it's the first Chandler-like compressor that do not require iLok or UAD, so it may be sound even more interesting for someone.

Interested to hear people's opinions on Kiive. Didn't really know much about them, but have been demoing this and Xtressor today and they sound really good to me.

Don’t know what’s wrong with the geezers face in the video, very strange, I wouldn’t click on that video… but this comp and the Xtressor plugins are fantastic in my opinion.

YouTube has apparently told “influencers” they will get more clicks/views if they include that cringe pic in the thumbnail for the video. If I see that video it’s a hard and quick pass.

If you decide to ignore information because a guy makes a face you don't like, literally no one needs to know about it. No one needs a cringey circle jerk of guys congratulating each other for not liking a YouTube thumbnail.
There are problems with the video (that have nothing to do with the thumbnail,), but I heard enough to tell me this plugin is worth a demo and there's a good chance I'll buy it after putting it through it's paces. Sounds very good as far as I can tell from the video.

I wasn’t offending anyone with my post. I explained why people use those pics. Yeah, I agreed with the person who wouldn’t click on that video. What’s your problem? And framing it as “need” is your thing not mine. How many opinions on KVR are needed by you or anyone? The internet is filled with opinions. Does anybody need your opinions? Like the ones you’ve expressed here? And if they don’t doesn’t that make you a total, arrogant, hypocrite?

Is not my fault if people on youtube decide to watch videos with these kind of thumbnails. Believeme, i tried with more serious, but videos got totally ignored.
I make no money from my channel (is not monetized) it's just about sharing a passion with people and trying to give some help.
Prepare a video cost me a lot of time (and even money for the equipment), so i do what's better for the video to being viewed, the only reward i get is the satisfaction to do something useful for someone else
I dislike these kind of thumbs too, but i'm not the one who make the rules. If people prefer to click on videos with stupid faces i can do nothing. Even very big and popular youtubers need to do that. That's a rule.
I understand someone don't like it and decide to do not click the video just because of that. I do not agree, because you can miss some usefull info, but i understand the point.
What i feel more stupid than my face on the thumbnail, is to see people to have the need to say it even multiple time, and even to switch the discussion of the thread about that instead the plugin.
If i like something i click on it, if i don't like i do not complain about it, i just ignore.
What's the point to say it? I'm genuinely curious now, what are you trying to achieve? Do you realize we are in 2022 and that's how things work from at least 15 years now?
Don't watch my video if you don't want it, i don't care, i just like to be useful and to share something with people who share my interests, but please accept my suggestion: be more relaxed and try to respect what other people do, cause behind something you may dislike there is a lot of work, and since i hurt nobody here, i think to deserve some respect, just to being a human.
