Waveform Free 12 Audio Issues

New to this forum, and new to Waveform, recently downloaded Waveform Free 12 to my Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 11. Have a Mackie ProFXV310, connected to the laptop vis USB cable.
Using XLR cables to my JBL speakers. Live the mixer works fine, vocals and guitars.
When I first set with the Audio tab in WF12, using ASIO trying both Mackie ASIO Driver and ASIO4ALL. I got test tones not problem, then that stopped working.
Downloaded a sample song, played it meters all moving as expect but no sound. On the Master track there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside it.
Any suggestions?
