hi, I have a number of user-made presets that contain references to the location of it's .amxd effect. The effect however is in a different location on my computer than on the one the presets were made on.
I can perform this excellent 'missing file/sample/etc' search by Ableton and does find the .amxd effect. But it there a way to do this automatically (and update the presets in the process) since doing that by hand (and time and again) takes quite some effort and is tedious.
Kind regards, Slug

If the presets are inside an Project folder you can use the Project's Manage Files options for all of them at the same time (option in right-click Project menu).
You can move the presets temporarily inside a new near-empty saved Project (amxd should be in a permanent location, not moved) to do the process.
