Sonnox Plugins: Truth in advertising (mostly)

When I first received this email from Sonnox Plugins, I was impressed with Sonnox for calling out the sales tactics of other audio software companies and assuring me that their sale was genuine. Being impressed, albeit skeptical, I pinned the email in my inbox to revisit later.

The Sonnox sale is on now and finishes on November 30th*

*It honestly does finish on November 30th; we won't just call the sale something different, bring it back for 24 hours or spontaneously extend it due to high demand.

Eventually, I came to learn that the end date for the Sonnox Plugins sales was not quite so firm as I was initially led to believe. While I don't know whether or not the Sonnox Plugins online shop shut down that sale promptly on December 1st, I do know that third-party resellers kept the sale going for a number of days after November 30th:
