My studio will be boxed up for at least a year. So my Waza-Air Bass have been a life saver.

Without any doubt, my Maurizio Über Basses Miezo 18.

In a solid second place (and getting more play time than the bass), my Make Noise Strega.

your strega has red on it...

looks cool, also would have helped with working out some of the weird symbol bits "are you in or out???" that weird cross thing, wasn't even mentioned in the manual when i bought mine  dunno if that ever got updated?
watched loads of videos for some help, not even make noise themselves used the bloody thing :hihi:

think my strega was just before last xmas?
ill have to think on this, as the things ive bought have all been great purchases, not a single regret :o

My best purchase of 2022 was definitely my PolyBrute, but runners up were my Prophet 6 and SE-1X Nova Edition!

2022 was an amazing year… except for my savings balance :hihi:

Befaco Bananuts. I first got them so I would stop plugging stuff into the wrong jacks on Mimeophon, realized they looked fantastic on a black panel, then went ahead and got them for outputs on all my gear. (Except for 0-Ctrl because there are a ton of outputs and they're obvious.)

The weird cross thing is some kind of processed output from the delay section. I wish the output was available on a jack instead of just the touchplate. It does make a nice warbly modulator for the oscillator pitch though.

so the jack with the cross 3 from the audio input, you input a signal there and it comes out of the touchplate (mixed with whatever that does without input?)

ive seen people using the touchplates with cables, just touching the end to them. not sure if ive seen them do it to control other gear though, but within strega itself.

thanks for the info!

Nope, what comes out of the touchplate is always from the delay section.

The jack with that symbol is a modulation input for the oscillator pitch. If you don't plug anything in, it's normalled to the delay thingy, but plugging something in overrides it.

I've touched cables to the touchplates too, but I'm kind of afraid of scratching the surface if I'm not careful. Also it's a pain to just hold it there in the long term.

Post

ah ok, thanks again, that clears that up! 8)

yeah i can imagine it might get a bit tedious for long term modulation.
didn't think about scratching them tbh, but yeah that wouldn't be good, once it's scratched i imagine it will start to flake off over time, with touching it so much.
i shall avoid that, as my clumsiness is legendary!

thanks again 😎

Thanks, now I just need to practice until I don't suck :hihi:

Only one purchase this year. Out of space and inputs on my interface (and no room for a larger/expanded interface).

Only hardware I got this year was a Behringer Wasp and a Sequential Rev2 (that just got here yesterday), I think everybody can figure out which one is #1 of the two..

Just paid for my Osmose, it’s on its wait after waiting several years! The delayed gratification makes this my hardware purchase of the year and I don’t even have it yet!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I built quite a few Eurorack modules this year and the NLC Resonate and 8-bit Cipher have been absolute stars that make their way into most patches

I also got a Sport Modulator 2 which is a great module

Even though I technically bought it in 2021 I didn't start using it until this year, but VSX, especially with the latest update
