There are 40 total tracks in this piece. 16 of them are orchestral, so don't worry about them. Then there is piano, bass and drums. Don't worry about them. Then there are 4 vocal tracks. Don't worry about them. Then there is one MIDI track. That leaves 16 tracks of synths. One synth is used twice. So there are 15 synths you need to guess.
I'm doing this mostly to prove my point that, in a mix, nobody can tell what synths are being used. But kudos to you if you can. In fact, let's make it any 3 sound libraries of your choice.
Here you go. Enjoy!

Of course you can't. It's already very difficult with a single sound in isolation (albeit possible, I think there are enough examples of peole guessing the right synth, when there are comparisons).wagtunes wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:29 pm I'm doing this mostly to prove my point that, in a mix, nobody can tell what synths are being used.
Not that you couldn't do a guessing game, of course.

True. Should be fun to see how many people get. I'd be shocked if more than 2 or 3.chk071 wrote: Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:31 pmOf course you can't.
