Came across a problem that has been driving me nuts. Here's how to reproduce it in Cubase SX2....
1 Create and empty project.
2 Load up Rhino 2.
3 From the Rhino 1 bank 'Ambient Pads' select the preset 'Spectrapolis'.
4 Goto the 'Filter 1' page.
5 You'll find 'Filter Cutoff' set to 97, and 'Filter Resonance' set to 88.
6 Change these two settings to something else.
7 Go back to the 'Bank' page.
8 Right click on 'Spectrapolis' and select 'Write'.
This should save the changes made to the preset right?
9 Click on another preset.
10 Click back on 'Spectrapolis'.
11 Go to the 'Filter 1' page.
The settings for 'Filter Cutoff' and 'Filter Resonance' have returned to 97 and 88 respectively.
I haven't tested all the other parameters you can change that 'Write' may not save, but there may be more. It could also be that this only happens when using Rhino 1 banks in Rhino 2.
This shouldn't happen right?

I can't check at the moment, but I suspect that these two parameters are mapped to user sliders. Therefore the value defined by the user sliders overrides the default value for the parameter.

You're right.
That's exactly what's happening! Thanks for the quick explanation
