Automatic creation of multisamples

Is there a program available for the mac which will automatically create multisamples / sampler patches from my outboard gear. I beleive that I saw an article a little while ago about such a peice of software but it was only for the PC. In the article it seemed to say that you could select the range of notes/velocites/etc. sampled and leavve the program to do the rest.

There is an application, and I only heard the best:
Autosampler from http://www.redmatica.com/
It's MacOS X only, and I think it creates EXS instruments, but you can still use the aifs for other samplers.

That looks like a killer program...shame its for Mac only
