Plugin Alliance DS Audio TANTRA 2 is crashing Logic and Cubase on Mac when switching certain presets.
Tried various things with tech support like fully uninstalling and reinstalling it, but the issue is still happening.
anyone else experience this ? and is Tantra v1 working ok ?

not of much help, since I´m on Ableton Live 11, but works fine here on a M1 Mac Monterey.

I've found Tantra causes crashes on Reaper in Windows 10. It seems to behave with just one Tantra instance (one track) but when I try duplicating tracks (especially on already busy projects) it causes Reaper to crash.
I still haven't been able to find an easily "duplicatable" scenario yet though.

Asked PA support if they can let me use Tantra 1 for now. No answer from them still

this is the company with worst support ever, ignoring a customer that owns most of their plugins is a slap in a face. very unprofessional

The answer to assume is no. Tantra 1 was soely created and distributed by dmitry sches. Only Tantra 2 is under control by PA. They are two completely separate products sold by different companies.

Win 10. It is crashing FL Studio 21 when accidentally doing a double click (instead of single) to open Tantra2 plugin from mixer insert. What a shame, I just bought it.

I've had Tantra 2 in FL and have never even experienced a hiccup. I torture that plugin also. However, I don't think I bought it from PA. I swear I bought this directly from his website. It must not be the latest version because mine does not have that skin.

Are you sure you have v2?

Firstly I am not sure what version you are running, there is a version update on dmitry's site that I don't think PA has released up to now, so long later.
Secondly Dmitry is very helpful.
I would contact him if I were you.

PA manager says 2.01 as well. I think it's been released then.

I think you're right. When I hover on the .dll, it says 1.14. I can't even begin to understand why the IL Bridge labels it Tantra 2 (?). It's also listed in my Plugin Picker as 2, but there's two in there. One just says Tantra, the other has it like this Tantra_2.

Osiris, are you going to install that 2.0.1 version with the new GUI? If yes, then let me know how it works for you in FL Studio.

I don't think I have the upgrade. I got this from Dmitry's website. I have a PA account and if they took it over it would be in there.

I went to try and download the 2.01 binaries from the link on the Tantra landing page, but Google Drive wants a cookie and won't let me. How stupid is Google anyway? If they want a cookie they can eat MY Google Drive cookie. I AM NOT A ROBOT, indeed.

I'm posting this Tantra 2 crash report up on the off chance that anybody ever decides to investigate it. This is in Reaper - it always happens when I attempt to render a track with Tantra 2 enabled on it:
