Nice, FL Studio all plugins edition might get spicy !

Urgh.
Maybe it's time to buy the remaining libraries I am interested in before they change copy protection scheme or general business practices.
UVI was a great, customer friendly company.
I doubt it will stay that way.

Wow, that explains the dirt cheap sale of UVI stuff over at image line….
I must admit I am surprised, I thought UVI was bigger than image line!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Very interesting development, best for both companies.
Mac Studio M4
15.7.3
Cubase 15, Ableton Live 12

+1

If there is a user friendly comapny still left on the Audio market it´s IL for sure...
It´s quite surprising that they have come this far without charging a single dime from their users for any upgrades but nonetheless have the financial power to acquire such a company like UVI... :tu:

I am curious to see what this will mean for future development of both companies and how they eventually are melting toghether and bleeding into FL Studio...

Didn't Image Line cease support of VST plugins outside of FL Studio? Did they change their minds on that one?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Interesting, i guess IL is doing pretty good business wise.

Post

I'm sure UVI customers will benefit from Image Line's reputation for maintaining and improving its instruments.

I hope they do change the copy protection scheme. I'll use soft iLok if I have to but prefer almost anything else (with a few exceptions, e.g. the stupid codemeter CP that Avenger was/is using)

Edit: Also, three words: Falcon FX plugin. Make it happen, IL!

They just have stopped supporting and selling their own VST plugin versions atm as they wanted to put all forces on bringing FL Studio to the next level...

As soon as this is done I am pretty sure they will get back to updating and selling their own line again as they have always said...
