Good evening everyone . First of all I'm sorry but I need to say a few things even if I don't know if
I'm crazy or if it really happens or is happening...

Most music publishers and music promoters, in addition to earn too much from the work of their artists,
still want to take advantage of "new" artists.
They deceive you that they want to help you and that for that you have to do this and that (pay) HAHAH
They want to create a monopoly where you pay to enter and you pay to leave and you pay while you stay there.
and if you talk too much get out and they burn you in (at least they tempt)

then this copyright and samples business is also getting ridiculous once again comes the recipe
it's like we're painters and they say the colors are theirs and we can't use the colors
only they can use colors and we have to stay in black and white
The problem with copyright is that most of the time those authors are not the authors.

I've already reached the point of making a song with only vst's and the copyright notice appears kkk
not to mention that these vst's really cost a lot of money

well I'll stop here because I'm already better.
I will continue my productions because unlike those people I mentioned, I think about music and I like music
and what I value in music is the music itself

stay well good productions there for you too

The music industry has always had its share of shady people and asymmetrical deals in favor of said shady people. Gotta be careful out there.

For sure the majority of musos trying to make it just don't, whereas the financiers generally make money. I'd dispute some of what you say about copyright though. It's more like painters are allowed to use colours as they can't be copyrighted (yet), but they're not allowed to cut out sections of other artists paintings, glue them together and pass them off as their own (unless they pay for it). Sampling others' music is just not a right to be abused just because you want it to be. I can see some of the arguments, but ultimately it comes down to stealing others' work. There's a huge difference between using sampled drum sounds or sampled instruments and then sampling a whole riff or tune or vocal etc. If you do that - you should expect to pay heavily for it if you're trying to make money out of it yourself. How would you feel about it if someone ripped off one of your tunes and sold it as their hit single? You think they should be able to do that for free?
