Problem with Sonarworks SoundID Reference installer

Hi everyone,

I write this post here because I have a problem with installing Sonarworks SoundID Reference, and see if anyone has had the same problem, and if a solution has been found.

I downloaded the installer from their site and started the installation process.
The installation completes without any error messages, but despite this, nothing is installed.
Only the installers in .msi format in the "Program Files/Sonarworks" folder are downloaded.
Then, if I start these manually the installation hangs and an error message appears (see attached screenshot):

There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

From what we understand, it seems that the problem is related to Windows Installer.

I have contacted Sonarworks technical support but they cannot fix the problem and install their program on my PC. I also gave remote access to my pc but they couldn't fix the problem. Now they no longer respond to my requests on the support ticket opened on their site. They practically don't know what to tell me and justify the behavior of their software that refuses to install on my PC.

Has anyone here on the forum had an experience like this?
