Why does my Waveform installation always preload an arrangement ?

Hi

Just installed Waveform and all working fine - but, when ever I start a new project and select a template ie, singer songwriter, a demo song is automatically loaded - not sure if this is intended but can I deactivate it? Ive looked everywhere and cant find any mention of this in the setup, manual or help files.
