How much they paying YouTube for the placement? If saw it too , in my ‘feed’ , same as for all ’synth video’ watchers who also had it placed there.

$500 for that?

lol

Placement? I don't get it. I saw it on Synthopia and thought it was a cool gizmo. Expensive yeah sure, but cool.

It’s on everybody’s YT feed, paid for no doubt. Placement.

Price is a pisstake.

My OP-Z does about 100 times more and people say TE are expensive…

Still, I guess it’s kawaii…

Edit; 699 in pink? f**k off.

I thought it was neat, but I don’t like the price.

Not saying I know how much it costs to build it, just that for the functionality I also already have OP-z, in addition to Digitakt, Morphagene, and various loopers so it’s hard to want this. I also still have that OP-1 that I don’t use.

Looks fun though.

OG version I guess? Love the look of them.

Both OG and Field look great but not 2X/4X better than the OP-Z.

But the Chompi makes the Field look like a fair price!!

$20 Daisy board in very pretty box....but everything is mapped, knobs, buttons, software. Its not really that different to any digital hardware synth TBH-...and similar type of thing/price to the organelle which was quite successful.

X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Exactly so on all counts! "You've probably been wondering about this section over here." Well, no, not really, I was waiting to see if this would get interesting. Oh, a looper, yay, click. No YouTube, I don't want to "continue watching."

I wouldnt really say it was a similar type of thing to the Organelle; the Organelle is completely reprogrammable in PureData.

edit : hmmm it is a Daisy based device, so firmware can be reprogrammed from a computer, but that's not on quite the same level as an Organelle.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Also, Chompi Club is inclusive...for some definition of inclusive. I think that it's probably not inclusive of people who like pink and don't have $700.

OG, got it in a trade. I always wanted to see what the fuss was about, but I’m not impressed.

I can see how others might like the limitations but I don’t care for it.

OP-z has its own limitations of course, but I like it much better. Far more flexible for using tracks, creating projects. I would say Elektron inspired but from the Elektron boards it seems some of the TE staff are former Elektron people. I cant verify that, so please take it only as a delightful internet rumor.

I think it's cool, but it's not $500 cool. It's more like $200 cool, and to be honest, after having a blast for about an hour, I would probably not use it all that much anyway.

Dear Casio, please build an updated SK-1 and keep the price low. eBay/Reverb prices on them are getting stupid now, so it's time for a reissue.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts. It's a hipster product with hipster pricing. Not for me. :hihi:
