Aalto is one of my favorite softsynths, and the one that probably gets the most use. It's like a modernized and slightly expanded version of the Buchla Easel. Personally I could care less about presets, I design sounds from scratch -- so something that is both relatively simple and yet super flexible, like this, is ideal. It also just seems to go with everything.

Kaivo is creative but I generally struggle to find a place for it in my music, so I've used it very little.

I keep meaning to check out Virta because it might be a great way to process my bass guitar, but I keep putting it off.

I'm really looking forward to Sumu -- I've been impressed by what I've seen/heard in the teasers.

Ok, few hours ago I was saying Bitwig 5.1... It is actually just out in Beta.... This thread has some magic properties...

Oh my mistake I had just read the details on it on a retail page and it indicated it uses Codemeter on the page. As a potential upgrade buyer what is the intro price going to be on Avenger v2 do you know? And also what is the protection scheme on Avenger 1 and 2? Because I'm using things other than Avenger and wasn't sure if it used iLok.

it uses an online activation. No more dongles

Madrona Labs is a great one person company. I missed a sale by just a few hours and they gave me the sale price. Responsive, innovative, cool.

Some amazing developer makes a granular synth I like.

Arturia adds an easily-readable, higher contrast UI to Motions, so I can buy it.

but some may be released in early 2024.
