I asked myself what you guys do to mix your drum sample libraries? Just a hint of comp/eq or do you treat them like they would be actual recordings of a drum kit?
I think they all sound pretty processed out of the box (with 0% effects on anything)?
How to treat Acoustic Drum Samples/VST´s when mixing?

Totally depends on the production, genre and the vst you are using. Not totally like real drums since there shouldn't be any bleed and phase issues.
Sometimes I even replace vst drums shells with trigger to use my chosen drum samples.
