How assign effects and instruments to M-audio Oxygen49 (IV) in Ableton

Is there a straight forward manual on how to assign effects and instruments to the knobs, pads and faders on the M-audio Oxygen49 in Ableton?

i found out that a lot of the buttons (depending on the which VST i'm using) assigned automaticly when i set the midi port (in/out) settings, track, sync and remote ON. But it is assigned totally random. I want to change this so i can assign them the way i want it. and deside which sound is assigned to which pad..

There is a preset editor but sadly only usable for the Oxygen49 pro series.

actually, i found 1 video tutorial but only in portuguese.
