Are you still happy, content with your Polybrute?
Regarding sound, reliability, keyboard, analog voices, tuning.
No problem with the analog voices?
The keyboard is of quality over time?
No worries about tuning and having to do it too often?

Arturia has some odd policy regarding firmware updates
- no matter how serious it's once a year it seems
One guy reported issue with loosing midi in events and stuck notes
- I was able to replicate, midi cable from midi out to in
- set local off
- play twohanded in 5-10s you get stuck notes already
My conclusion was that concurrent midi in and out does not work. It looses midi in events playing on keyboard at the same time. This is the normal operation on a sequencer to monitor through sequencer and Arturia did not think this was important enough.
Waited 7 months for firmware update on this, nothing, and then sold and dumped off my PB.
Even though great synth in many respects the timbres you get from oscillators are not that interesting IMO. How you mix triangle and square and the possibly the metal thingy did not do it for me.
I find shape knobs for Prologue and REV2 do a better job giving alterate waveforms.

Love mine. Hard to say if it withstands a beating, as I mostly control it with another keyboard and edit with the editor. Sounds great and I’ve experienced no bugs.

Thank you very much for your answers and opinions.
Glad to read that you are happy with your Polybrute.
An excellent thing that the keyboard despite some criticism is still functional after some time of use.
What is also reassuring is that there are no problems with the analog channels and the tuning.

Still love mine, so much fun to create sounds on. Had no issues with it at all.

Thank you very much for your reply.
It's reassuring, because there was really a fear on my part about the quality of the keyboard and possible deformation, or even worse, of the keyboard.
My second fear was reliability and especially on analog voices.
Read that quite early on there was a malfunction of an analog voice on the Polybrute and concern for maintaining the tuning.

I don't regret buying it, I don't have problems with it, but...
Udo Super6 and OBX8 remain on my desk, my polybrute has been replaced by the Model D.

The vst connect plugin isnt really stable for me, crashes sometimes. Sync to bpm isnt 100% stable.
That said, the actual synth and interface on the hardware are amazing. You can do so much with it, nothing else come close in the analog poly realm.
Havent had any hw issues so far.
Arturia should update the vst software more often, thats my main issue.

Sold mine.
I think the build quality isn't great and the sound mediocre compared to my other favorite polys.

What system and DAW are you using? It’s rock solid on Windows 10 in Bitwig.cnt wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2023 12:58 am The vst connect plugin isnt really stable for me, crashes sometimes. Sync to bpm isnt 100% stable.

Rock solid on my Mac as well, but that's software for you - it's never going to be 100% stable for every person.
