Maybe match an eq curve of any particular speaker and save it, then load it when needed to check? If you know there’s a big bass cut, mid boost and some highs cut then you should be able to make something close to that.
Just one possible way. You’d have to adjust a bit for your monitoring system, but it can help regardless.

Some of the Pure Evoke digital radios have found use in studios (at least in the uk, not sure if they are available internationally). Some models have an aux in socket on the back that allows you to use the radio as a speaker.. I got an old one from eBay for about 20 quid, and go out to it from my monitor controller. I would suggest looking at the photos of the back of the model you’re buying to make sure it has the aux in.
