Aberrant DSP (of Sketch Cassette, Shapeshifter and Digitalis fame) just released their new multiband dynamics and imaging processor.
I buy everything that these guys make and this is yet another great plugin. True to form they have an abstract UI but it's pretty intuitive.
This allows for upwards and downward compression with trim adjustment per band, selectable transition frequencies, image widening or narrowing per band, preset characteristics for the dynamics (punchy, relaxed) etc.
It's like a multiband version of their Shapeshifter plugin.
I'm really enjoying it. It's far more capable than it first appear and it's not expensive at all.
They also have great marketing videos:

The only plugin of theirs I have is Digitalis, and I must say, it has the most useful AI implementation of any plugin to date. I may have to give tectonic a closer look.

I like it very much!
Only thing thats weird is that the plugin doesnt save its state. (Bitwig 5.0.4. Win10)
edit. it actually does. i just have to open-close-reopen the vst for the preset name to refresh. weird! same with digitalis
