Hi all! I wanted to share a browser based MIDI sequencer I've built. Goosegrid is a browser based MIDI sequencer with a grid system that is focused on live performance and experimentation. It's inspired by live coding performance and includes some tools for generating melodies. With Goosegrid you can use the computer keyboard to navigate and input notes. Connected notes can be linked together and turned into loops. It also allows you to define parts that can be nested inside of other parts. My hope is that this is a flexible, live performance focused sequencer that can be used in a variety of ways.
I'd love to know your thoughts or if you run into some issues. I'd recommend using Chrome, as that's what I've tested it most thoroughly on.
