Hello,

Hope you guys are all well.

I was wondering if this mythical piece of gear had received a deserved cloning in software recently (apart from that long time deceased VST clone years ago) ?
Any M4L or Reaktor patches or Delay plugin that would have a similar architecture and capabilities?
Such a unique sound machine should be now a good challenge to some developpers no ?
:ud:

I've been after one for years. Sure fire big seller if anyone can get their hands on one to model.

Stephen gonzo designer of Marshall Electronics was very cryptic about the insides, so schematics are probably impossible to find. The delay was made of CCD's which I don't believe is common practice. He died a long time ago, but the coders (who likely had access to the schematics) are still around.

Chris Mandra is still in the music industry but does not seem to be working on plugins anymore.

I don't think Edmund Pirali (who co-founded Intelligent Devices with Stephen) has been working in pro audio for a long time now. ID was aquired a few years ago.

I believe they coded the original MTM 32-bit plugin, which was supervised by Stephen until his death. I would presume that the code belongs to Edmund, so any devs out there who want to license/port it to 64-bit could try to get in touch with him. It might be as easy as finding and restoring an actual MTM (meaning not very). :D

I love the sound of this thing and would love to see someone bring it to life in 64-bit land.
