I keep going back and forth on this.

In one way, it would consolidate a lot of my workflow by offering multiple types of controllers on one screen and or pages in a good size form factor. Also, it's MPE and it's MIDI 2.0.

In another way, it doesn't seem super high resolution for subtle movement control and some people have said that while the surface is pretty sensitive, it's a little harder than they hoped, so you have to hit or press it at a threshold before it responds to light touches. And it's expensive!

Would love some experienced thoughts on this and the device overall.

Many thanks,

Greg

Well I already directly responded to you in the Erae Touch - All-Around MIDI 2.0 Controller? thread, so I will expand on it some more.

If you need a highly sensitive playing surface that responds easily to light touches, get the LinnStrument (128).

If you prefer having multiple visual interfaces, get the ERAE Touch.

If you want both, then get them both and sell the rest of your redundant MIDI controllers.
