Studio One (5.5) Automation question with 3rd party plugins

I am trying the "mouse-over" automation with 3rd party plugins to get fast automation. But it doesn't work. I've tried with Vital, Dune and Hive. None of them seem to work with the "mouse-over" automation. Only if I click the parameters then I can create automation...
The "mouse-over" works perfectly with Studio One's own plugins (Mai tai, Mojito, Presence).
Here is how it should work, and he also uses 3rd party plugin with the mouse-over function:

Also, I can not get the "edit automation" when clicking 3rd party plugins right click like he does in the video. But with Studio One's own plugins it works just like in the video.
What I am doing wrong here?

Hello, your not doing anything wrong. unfortunately the video is misleading. he should of emphasized that its 3rd party plugins who choose to support it. like some compressors show the compression attenuation values in studio ones mixer while some dont. its just the developers not supporting this feature for this daw. I think it kinda creates confusion to keep mouse over on instead of using only recently touched as a result because sometimes it will work sometimes it wont causing a hiccup in workflow.
