AKAI EWI 4000s+Roland Sonic Cell setup. Help please!

Hello, friends! I am new here. I purchased Akai EWI 4000s for only a week ago. I am learning to play and enjoy it very much. My ultimate goal is portable laptop free setup for Gigs outdoors. I know that Matt have great sound banks (I listened them all!) and one day I will purchase them. At the moment its impossible due to technical problems, so I am looking for way to enjoy it without Matt patches for now. Please help me to set it up properly, if possible!
My EWI: CH #1, Ve: 120. I don't know if i need to change anything also in the EWI setup menu. Roland SC settings:

As I blow in gently there is some quite sound, if I blow harder - nothing changes, However, If I hit it hard ( attack), the volume jumps up. Another words there is no smooth transition from quite to laud sound. Any ideas how to fix it?
