Patchpool releases VAST for Arturia Efx Fragments

VAST for Efx Fragments the granular multi-effect processor by Arturia contains 112 presets (including six variations) spanning a vast range from atmospherical and ambient textures to complex, tempo-synced stuttering and glitch effects, from alien otherworldly effect chains to self-resonating mayhem, from pitch-sequenced grains to pulsating rhythms, from beautiful and mellow ambiences to futuristic and edgy setups. These presets will invite you to experiment and develop new ideas for your music and sound design.

All patches make extensive use of the available modulators which are often modulating each other in depth and speed, have both Macros assigned for direct interaction and a short description of their functionality in the browser’s info field. Many of these presets were created within actual musical or sound design projects and passed the test for actual usability.

Improvising on my tenor sax, processed by Efx Fragments using the preset “Alternate Scan“ from VAST, processing the 2 Macros in LogicX. Some extra reverb (B2) was added on the dry sax signal and on the Fragments signal.
