(Don't know if I'm breaking a rule by doing this - if I am, please be merciful. I'm just trying something out.)

So I'm working on a song that's otherwise more or less finished production-wise, but it's missing one little thing to tie it together. That thing is a choir. I've made posts in all of my usual social medias about the recruitment, but it hasn't yielded much success thus far (which I guess isn't surprising), so I figured I'd try making a post over here where the most like-minded individuals are.

Below is a download link for a .zip file that contains all of the necessary files so that YOU - yes, YOU! - can be a part of the choir: two .wav files, one a demonstration of the choir melody and the other a click track, a text file with essential information and another text file with the lyrics.

The melody is a relatively simple 4-note melody in the key of F#m, you may sing it from whatever range feels the most comfortable to you. Just record a take and send it to my e-mail at santtu.pesonen[at]mail.com (NOTE LACK OF G PRECEDING MAIL). See info.txt for recommended export settings.

Quick and dirty QMLTBFA (Questions Most Likely To Be Frequently Asked)
Q: Is this a paid job?
A: No, sadly.

Q: Will I be credited for my contribution?
A: Of course, unless you wish to contribute anonymously. If you do, just let me know.

Q: Can I send my submission through other means than e-mail?
A: Only if e-mail is absolutely not an option. While I'm not entirely against non-e-mail submissions, I would rather have them centered in one place - that way, they'll be easier for me to keep track of.

Q: Why don't you just layer multiple takes of yourself?
A: Because that would sound boring.

Thanks in advance to any contributors!
