hi guys, someone from another forum gave me this idea but im not sure if it can replace it or not yet cause i think the AUTO ALIGN feature might give a more rounded and better lowend from Monofilter.

what do you think, can PRO-Q3 replace Monofilter?

i got Monofilter set like this on my master:

for PRO-Q3 i would need to set it like this around:

anyone test it/compare yet?

thx

I could test and compare for you - send me a soundfile (preferably a full track of your own material) and I'll send you back a Pro-Q version and some Monofilter versions (Linear Phase on/off etc). You tell me what settings you want.

Monofilter has that (auto) phase alignment which makes it unique to any other tool - infact the phase/frequency meter is in itself pretty cool. It's much more than a side-channel HPF that's for sure.

I went through all my plugins to find the best "bass mono'izer" a few years ago and my favs were Mongoose and Monofilter.

Nugen Monofilter is really the best I have tried so far. CenterOne might be another approach and should be fine for Phantom Center adjustments. Mongoose was indeed surprisingly good, too.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

hi Mogwaiboy, thx so much, i got both plugins but i didnt find a very big difference yet, but the phase alignment maybe gives some more coherent low end so i think i wont replace it with Q3.

did you test it yourself and came to a conclusion?
