Korg SQ-64 Keyboard Mode Question

I was using this mode to play my Behringer Crave synth, but when I played back the notes I'd recorded, they seemed quantized somehow, it's like the seq wasn't including the dotted note rhythm I was playing some notes in. There were ties in the lane under the notes I had forgotten to remove, but when I removed them it did not affect the rhythm really much. Is there a way to record notes from the Keyboard Mode completely unquantized? I did install the firmware update, right after I got it.
