New modeller on the block, interesting. They are an OEM manufacturer.

That sounds pretty great to me, especially for the money. I would definitely pick it over the Tonex, but that's only because I'm a one-and-done guy when it comes to these types of things and Tonex would be a better choice if you have a nice pedal collection that you don't mind bringing out to shows. In that respect, it's more like an HX Stomp without the capturing, which frankly, I don't care about that much. I know everyone's all ga-ga about capturing, but I still gravitate to modeling because I want more and more authentic kinds of control of the sound, and frankly I think it can sound as good. The Noodlist wrote: Sun Sep 10, 2023 1:03 pm New modeller on the block, interesting. Also, I like that when I load up a Delay or other effect on the HX Stomp it's not just a few basic digital delay parameters, it's an actual emulation of a delay type like tape or bbd, or something very creative like their Tesselator Delay. Seems also to be a single path as well, and I'd miss having dual paths for stereo amp setups.
So, definitely swinging for the fences, as the sports fans say, but maybe some more development time is needed before it can beat an HX Stomp, at least for me. Also a shame there's not a pure software plugin component, like you get with HX Stomp and Helix hardware. Tonex too.
