Seems a bit silly with the spring effect, why not a simple envelope or lfo? But I guess the price is just right.

I had the same thought when I first saw the “Disrupt Sphere”. But if it had just been a normal macro knob with a dedicated tempo sync LFO with a one shot trigger mode (which is what it is) I don’t think I would have had the same reaction. Also I find the slider more “playable” with a mouse than a rotating knob.
I think this is a feature on all the RP effects now since they were updated.
