Omg what a opportunity!

Micland VAC Attack is USD 179.99 only!!!
The regular price is USD 249.00, so you have the chance to save $69.01.
With USD 69.01 you could buy a Valhalla plugin and would still have money left,
but you couldn't buy The Glue. Well, that's life. Furthermore you couldn't buy
Softube Tube Compressor
Softube Weiss DS1 MK3
You also coul not buy
Empirical Labs Arousor
Sonnox Oxford Limiter
DMG Track Comp2
... (list will be continued!)

But who cares?! The plugin is made by Grammy award winner! One would expect
a Grammy award winner product to cost thousands of dollars, but it's only USD 179.99!

Next highlight : it's an optical compressor.
The optics / look speak for itself.
The gui is a real masterpiece and I suppose
they spend 5 hours minimum on creating gui, if not even more!!!

Thanks pa for such a good offer!

PA goes the former UAD way.
UAD goes the former PA way.
Upside down, this crazy market.

I think there are some rich engineers that do not care to spend that much of a money on a plugin.
Most of us getting these for $10 / $20 / $30 per plugin, depending on how much time you want to spend on learning how to get these deals.

UAD goes this way on mostly older plug ins. Trying to get new non uad card users onboard.

I'm sure new plug ins on spark won't start off cheap or will be on subscription.

The synths though, these were absolute bargains. I guess they weren't selling as many as they had hoped...

You are messing with us, right? Irony, at least thats what i hope.
Waves sells grammy award winners every week for 29$. or lower.
and for some of them it's still too much.

A lot of Hit Records were made by Grammy Award Winners (Also with 29$ Plugins).
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

I felt guilty, so I sent them the $249. I mean, I felt like I was stealing it.

It's not the high price that will win, but the number of users who buy it at a lower price ;) UA got well over 100,000 new users through the last promotions alone (official statement from a UAD rep). Millions are easily earned apart from the many new potential buyers of further and also future products.

Who used to talk about PA? No one, because the plug-ins were far too expensive and hardly anyone used them. Since the constant discounts, things look different. Presumably everyone has PA plugins and the number of users will have increased exorbitantly and in the end much more money will have been earned (so that in the end it was worth selling everything to an investor... and Dirk will certainly be very happy about the millions he can now spend on his hobbies :hihi: ).

Accurate observation.

unfortunately, more users also means more support costs, and "millions" in software business is not that much as experienced software engineers (especially in such a niche area) are expensive. so, more users and sales don't necessarily translate into bigger profits.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.
